I made my way to the concession stand, where a bored-looking clerk was ringing up a sale for a couple of rowdy patrons. I ordered a ticket and a soda, then made my way to the auditorium.
The film was a mess of tangled plotlines and half-baked characters, but the real star of the show was the stunning lead actress, Lola LaRue. With her piercing green eyes and raven-black hair, Lola was a true femme fatale, and she worked the camera with a confidence and charisma that was impossible to ignore.
