(born Maksut Koca in 1961) is a prominent Turkish folk poet and master of the bağlama (long-necked lute). He is officially recognized as a "Living Human Treasure" in Turkey for his role in preserving and continuing the centuries-old Âşıklık tradition , a form of improvised folk poetry and music.
