Aisai Nikki, also known as "Love Diary," is a romantic comedy anime that follows the daily life of Minami Amami, a high school girl who becomes involved in a complicated love triangle. In this first episode, we are introduced to Minami, a cheerful and carefree high school student who loves to take pictures and write in her diary.

Minami is heartbroken, but she tries to move on. She meets Nao, who seems perfect - beautiful, smart, and kind. Minami becomes intrigued by Nao and starts to observe her from afar.

Meanwhile, Minami's classmate, Tadayoshi, seems to have a soft spot for her. He often helps her with her schoolwork and walks her home from school. Minami starts to develop feelings for Tadayoshi, but she's not sure if she can reciprocate his affections.
