The IENE Conference Organizing Committee reviewed over 200 abstracts and devided them into the following types of presentations:

  • Full Oral Presentations: 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for questions
  • Lightning Talks: 7 minutes presentations of key results + 3 minutes for a question
  • Interactive Sessions: formerly known as workshops; 1–1,5 hour sessions that focus on a specific topic/issue; the session may be attended by one or more presenters
  • Poster Presentations: visual presentations that will be displayed for the entire duration of the conference. There will be a session dedicated to posters will allow in-depth discussions between authors and attendees.

When the sun dips below the horizon, the addon simulates a procedurally generated night sky with stars and the Milky Way, providing a complete 24-cycle of light. Impact on Workflow

For 3D artists, the "Archivo de Descarga" (download file) represents a shift toward . It eliminates the need to hunt for massive 16K HDRI files that hog memory. Instead, it provides a lightweight, highly customisable solution that works in both Blender’s Cycles (path-tracing) and Eevee (real-time) engines. This essay explores , a high-end lighting addon for Blender designed to simulate realistic environmental lighting based on physical laws. The Physics of Digital Light When the sun dips below the horizon, the

At its core, the tool replaces the traditional, static HDRIs (High Dynamic Range Images) with a dynamic, of an atmosphere. Instead of relying on a pre-baked 360-degree photo, it calculates how light interacts with air molecules, dust, and water vapour. This is based on Rayleigh and Mie scattering —the same principles that make our sky blue and our sunsets red. Key Features and Capabilities Instead of relying on a pre-baked 360-degree photo,

Physical Starlight and Atmosphere is more than just a lighting preset; it is a simulation of the natural world. By grounding digital art in the laws of physics, it allows creators to achieve photorealism with significantly less effort, making it an essential tool for architectural visualisation and cinematic storytelling.

Because the addon is based on physical parameters (like air density and molecular composition), it isn't limited to Earth. Artists can tweak settings to create the atmosphere of Mars, a gas giant, or a completely alien world.

Unlike a static image, users can change the sun’s position in real-time. The sky, stars, and atmospheric haze adjust instantly, allowing for seamless transitions from high-noon glare to the "golden hour" and deep night.
