Unlike traditional 4X games with complex unit tactics, combat is abstracted into a "Power" rating. Each map space has a value determined by technologies, nearby cities, and positioned armies. Victory in a territory is essentially a "tug-of-war" based on these ratings. Resource Management: Players manage four key resources: Food: Used to expand borders and grow cities.

Success is measured by earning "Crowns," awarded for various milestones like accumulating wealth, total population, or military dominance.
