The "Wins" weren't about the jewelry or the cars anymore. They were about the "Price Tag"—the title of one of the rawest tracks in the folder. He realized that his real win was surviving an environment that was designed to see him fail.

You can't have the wins without the losses; they are two sides of the same coin.

When the album finally dropped in July 2017, the Wins & Losses project wasn't just a collection of songs; it was a cinematic experience. It debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, but the numbers were secondary to the narrative.
