While working as a mail carrier, Lois finds a letter Peter wrote to his former flame, Gretchen , a week before their wedding. The letter confesses Peter’s cold feet and doubts about their marriage. Distraught, Lois tracks down Gretchen, who reveals she still has feelings for Peter.
