To earn her keep and prove to Chidi she can be "good," Eleanor volunteers to pick up the trash. Her true nature is tested when she hides a portion of the trash rather than disposing of it properly.

In this episode, Eleanor attempts to demonstrate her worthiness by volunteering for a neighborhood cleanup after a chaotic night of "flying" leads to massive amounts of trash falling from the sky. Meanwhile, Michael becomes increasingly concerned that there is a fundamental flaw in his neighborhood's design.
