(originally released in Japan as Kuro no Kiseki II ) is the twelfth main entry in Nihon Falcom’s long-running Trails series and the second chapter of the Calvard arc. Set in the year S.1209, the story follows the Spriggan Van Arkride as he investigates a brutal massacre of a CID special ops squad in Edith City, which leads to the discovery of a mysterious "crimson beast" known as Grendel-Zolga.
