The Madagascar Penguins In A Christmas Caper ◆
On Christmas Eve, the penguins are preparing for festivities at the Central Park Zoo when Private notices that Ted, the polar bear, is spending the holiday alone. Determined to cheer him up, Private sneaks out of the zoo to buy a gift. While in Manhattan, he is mistaken for a chew toy by Nana (the elderly woman from the first film) and taken to her apartment to be given to her vicious pet dog, Mr. Chew.
Skipper, Kowalski, and Rico soon discover Private is missing and launch a high-stakes rescue mission. They infiltrate Nana’s apartment and engage in a chaotic battle with Mr. Chew while Nana remains oblivious, focused on a football game. The penguins eventually rescue Private and return to the zoo, where they celebrate with Ted and the other zoo animals in a massive sing-along. Great post – I am a late-comer to the streaming of music. This is in part because I like the physicality of a CD and now, once again, and more so, the vinyl. I love to read the sleeve notes and admire the artwork.
But you make a great point regards in ‘the old days’ we effectively ‘tried and bought’ via radio and latterly tV shows. And in this respect Streaming is no different.
I have many friends in touring bands and they, at the time they would stop over at our house when on tour in this country, were dead set against streaming, for the reasons you outline.
Now it’s all change. Streaming has become a necessary evil.
Just a shame some people are getting rich off it – and it ain”t the artists.
